So there's this man I'm interested in. I was told in a dream he and I will someday marry. I was skeptical, so I asked God to show me a sign yes or no. I prayed first, then closed my eyes, opened up a brand-new magazine I had not read yet, and put my finger down on whatever page was there. When I opened my eyes, it was a picture of nothing but engagement rings. Just diamond engagement rings and nothing else. I want to know your opinion. Do you think that was a sign, or is this all my imagination?

P.S. - the magazine is not a bridal one and now I see there are no other rings or wedding things in the entire magazine. It was an Oprah magazine.

Has anyone here heard of Carl Jung? His philosophy holds that such "coincidences" are messages from "The collective unconscious," the river of knowledge that courses through us all.
Quantum mechanics might also suggest that in a universe of infinite possibilities, that one could be meaningful.
While I can't GUARANTEE anything, I would say that in my world, you have gotten some powerful support.
Good luck!!!!

Well, I believe there is no such thing as a coincidence, but I am not too sure what that means. You see rings and think... "Im gonna marry this guy" But if could be that your going to come into some money, or that your going to get engaged, but to someone totally different. I think you should take more control of your life and see if it was coincidence or not, don't leave it up for us to decided.

I think that it was a total coincidence. What's meant to come will come. The last thing you want to do is to rush into things and it doesn't workout. You also don't want to make the mistake that this guy really isnt the one. If you feel the relationship is really serious and you see yourself in the future with him, then maybe you need to sit down and talk to him. Good Luck!

Good grief!

First, a dream is a "premonition" and the sign from heaven is a magazine add? Gimme a break.

Now you are going to have this huge expectation based on superstition and you will give the man HELL when you feel dissapointed when he doesn't propose... the truth is this is just a fabrication in your head.

You are delusional

If you really love this guy and he loves you, then I hope it works. But what a bummer it is that you already know who you are going to marry before you marry? Take your time and let fate work its magic. Good luck!

It seems like it. But, don't rush into things, just wait till you get that gut feeling that there is a person you want to marry.
