It happens....overuse of products, build up, etc. Use a shampoo and conditioner that helps wash away build up or use something specifically for a dry scalp.

I know sometimes i get pimples on my scalp kinda like yours. But it could also be something called a nodule i have one on my arm and i thought that it was a mosoquito bite at first but i had a doctor look at it becuase it was there for a year...and still is there today. The only way you can get rid of a nodule is to have a plastic surguan get rid of it for you. But the cost should be covered with your health care :D

I think that like you said, it's a little bump. Most likely it's a pimple (a clogged pore, just like you might get on your face), an ingrown hair, or a bug bite. Probably nothing to worry about. If it sticks around for more than a week or so, more of them appear, or it starts to hurt, itch, or otherwise bother you more than just knowing it's there, you might want to see your doctor. But it's probably nothing to worry about, and will most likely go away on its own.

The other possibility is that it's an alien egg that's going to hatch and take over control of your body so it can use you in part of an evil scheme for world domination, but my money's on the pimple theory ;)

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

Could be a sebaceous cyst. Look it up and check the description to see if that is what you have on your head.

It could be clogged pore since our bodies do secrete oils and sweat. It's one of those things that just happens now and then.

You can get ingrown hairs on your head. In fact you can get them anywhere hair grows. It's normal don't worry about it.
