I'm not sure how much to charge for my fudge. It is made from scratch and has a very smooth rich texture. I will be selling it in 1 1/2 pound portions. The ingredients are unsweetened chocolate, sugar, half & half, vanilla, corn syrup, and butter. How much would you pay?

When it is cut into squares, set the price per square at somewhere between 10 and 25 cents. That should make it a good price to sell, now compare that with the cost of your ingredients, and pay yourself $10-$20 an hour for your time to mix it up. See where that puts you.

At least $4. If your ingredients aren't cheap and the quality of your final proeduct is good the price should reflect this. Your time and effort are certainly worth something as well. Do some comparison shopping and taste-testing then you'll be better able to judge the best price to charge.

If you are selling it by 11/2 pound each, that's a lot of fudge.A pound of chocolate is expensive.I would cut it into 2"x4" bars and sell it for $1.50--$2.00 each. You could walk thru a doctors office and sale the little bars easily.Go about 11:30 in the morning.Just sell to the staff.Good luck........

All my fudge has some roasted nuts so I couldn't compare but check your local candy shops and see what they are getting for a similar fudge.

I'd pay $3.00 - 4.00 dollars.

What you should do is figure the cost for all of the ingredients, figure your time, and charge enough to make a profit.
