carlo is a vegetable fat used on pizza pan before pizza goes on tray, and its a special product very unique.

Although I have no idea what carlo is..... This from another site:

All of the ingredients in the dough are vegetarian, and suitable for vegans. Carlo (used to lubricate our pans) is also suitable for vegans as it is made from vegetable oils.

What do you mean? oil they use on the trays before they put the pizza in the oven..? i think its virgin olive oil. Thts what most restaurants use.

why whats the difference between one vegetable fat and another?You could ring them and ask for details on their supplier i suppose
