I'm just looking for some other input... I'm also going to be buying a full suspension bike, and I was wondering if any of you guys had a suggestion for one of those... Specialized, or Trek... Kona even... And some prices?
I Free ride(full), Dirt jump(kona) and various races... I need a durable fork for more beefy dirt jumping, and a beefy frame for my freestyle.
Thanks a whole bunch.
Keep riding!

You can get second hand long travel and dirt jumping forks for really cheap. Check out the buy and sell sections on these websites: www.pinkbike.com, www.ridemonkey.com. I honestly don't think you'll be able to find any good, new dirtjumping forks for under $200 US.
There are heaps of good companies for freeride FS: Norco (www.norco.com), Kona, Trek, Specialized, Rocky Mountain (www.bikes.com), Brodie (www.brodiebikes.com), Santa Cruz (www.santacruzbikes.com), Banshee (www.bansheebikes.com), Cannondale (www.cannondale.com), Cove (www.covebike.com), Devinci (www.devinci.com), Iron Horse (www.ironhorsebikes.com), Orange (www.orangebikes.co.uk), Scott (www.scottusa.com), Transition (www.transitionbikes.com), Gary Fisher (www.fisherbikes.com). All make good FS freeride bikes hope this helps.

If your wanting a full sus, go for a Kona Stinky Deelux.. As for the fork, go for some Marzocchi DJ series forks.. no more than 100mm if its for dirtjumping. I got a '07 Kona Scrap, the '07 Marzocchi Dirtjumpers are awesome

at that price id look for something decent on sale, a clearance item or something. Id stick with Rock Shox (i have Duke Race) or Marzocchi, they are pretty wicked. Screw Trek, everyone ownes one. Specialized is one of the very best hands down. Heard good things about Kona too.

If you're starting out -
MTB'ing is becoming far too commercialised and therefore way too expensive [brand name obsession? -> just check your other answers]. Go get a BMX, you'll develop far more skill, won't have to travel as far, and save yourself a whole but-load of money.

If you can find a Fox on sale it will be great but if not you can go for Nixon, Black or Duke.
