I'm 17 years old and I don't know what to do. I've had an internet best friend for 6 years, and we dated 1 year. We just broke up because I like some other guy here. My internet guy and I have never met and I only seen one pic of him and his ID. We make plans to meet. My new guy here, I can see him....I still love my ex. Which guy should I be with? Is my dreams of meeting this guy just a fantasy? Please help me?

When you still love your ex, why you want to meet this new internet guy?
May be the new one stands for sth you missed of the old one. (metaphor / symbol).
Ask yourself whats exactly the point of the new one you are interested in. It is just nosiness to meet him or is it more? When you think the most of the new one. Is it the case when you have problems with the old one or if you miss sth. If it isnt just nosiness, its a sign which stands for sth you are looking for generally in life. But it could be that the new one will not live up to your expectations. You ask us here at yahoo a very tricky question. Cause the only one who can give a answer to is yourself.
Ask yourself if you are happy now or not. In my opinion as far as i can read from your question you are. But perhaps you are afraid of missing a thing in life. Or its just an exciting situation you like, cause who dont know who he is? Perhaps you will be happy with a stranger.
You seem to have difficulty in deciding yourself. But you just 17. Make your experiences. But first attention in terms of Internet-relationships. You are very young and may have not so much experiences. Even there are people on Internet who are nice to you, not all have good intents or purposes. Please, please take care. And also be fair with your boyfriends or Internetfriends.
If you really want to hear my opinion: Forget both of them. Concentrate on shool or job and meet there a boyfriend. So you may will be more able to judge if sb fits to you or not.

No one can answer this but you. None of us are you and no one bt you knows what you should do.
What I would do if I were you is test out the new guy. You might be missing out on something great and you don't know it. What do you have to lose? You broke it off with your ex, that is not going to change anything there. You may find you like new boy much better than internet-boy-- or you don't, and then you don't have to see him again. No big deal. Just check him out and see if it is any good.
Remember you and your Ex broke up for a reason.

This makes no sense. How could you date a guy for a year that you've never met and only seen one picture? How could you love this person? I think, you are living in a fantasy world. Go for the guy you can touch, see, and talk too.

Well, you should be concentrating on your education and a future career path before dealing with any guys but, that said... the internet guy is a 'fantasy' It is not real (no matter what you think). Be with the guy you can see, hear, and touch. And remember you are dating. You are too young to be worrying about long term.

you cant "date" someone if you have never seen them...sounds like a load of crap to me. You are 17...you should be out with friends meeting guys that way...the 17 year old girl way! Not sitting in front of your computer without a chance of meeting your friend.

i would go with the guy you can see because the guy on the internet could be some old guy and he could also be a murder of something like that but if you go with the other guy you know who he is.

The dream of meeting him isn't a fantasy, you can make it a reality quite easily...by meeting him. Maybe still continue to talk to the online friend but date people that you have contact with. It's the best of both worlds.

Honey .. you should go with one you feel the most connection with. you never know if the internet guy is seeing other girls also but not telling you. keep the internet guy as a backup for friendship cuz you never know when you break up with this new guy. its always better to have more guys and love one

Okay, if the Internet guy will take you back, and he has one picture, no I wouldn't, unless your COMPLETELY sure he's not some murder, rapist, or molester. And, also, you have a great guy in front of you. I say forget Internet dude, you have a great guy right in front of you.
