OK I exaggerated..She is not getting bald but loses more hair than normal..Reading that this is normal for this time of the year I feel much better :)

I started now brushing her twice a day -hopefully the shedding season is soon over

Relax. It's just that time of year!

Dogs shed twice a yea: Once in the spring and once in the fall.
I Know that sounds odd, but it's because the dog has to get rid of the old coat to grow out the new one. The winter coat will be longer and thicker, the spring coat will be shorter and thinner, but each time the seasons change, your puppy is going to be blowing its coat.

Don't worry about taking it to the vet just yet. Give it another month. Unless she exhibits other symptoms, or gets distinct bald spots, everything is going according to plan.

Sounds like she's just shedding - happens at this time of year. Also, she's a shepherd mix and shepherds shed a lot!! You need to be doing a THOROUGH brushing on her 2 - 3 times a week to get the dead hair out.

They do shed but it sounds like it may be excessive. Take her to a Vet and be sure something is not wrong and also check on her diet.

yes it can be very normal, i have a German shepherd, and he also lost a lot of hair, its the time off the year, but if you really don't trust it then go to a vet!

good luck

Sounds alot like allergies to me. YOu need to take your dog to the vet and also consider chaning her food to Eukanuba Response FP. Good Luck!
