I have a 7yr old step son , that i get every weekend , but his mom buys him big expensive stuff for every holiday , that is way out of his age group. To start, I do not have the money to compete with her , and i have 2 babies to buy for 2 . So , what is some great toys or stuff for him for x-mas?

You buy him what you think he will enjoy. Use your heart not your wallet, his other mom's problem is she is trying to buy the love insted of earning it. Good luck

How about a personalized book? Kids love to read their name in the storyline. Go to this website http://www.tlc-expressions.com They have lots of cool titles for a boy his age like Spider-Man, Batman, X-men, The Justice League, Superman, Where's Waldo and so many more. first, ask him what he would like, if you think it won't be like "the new x-box"
something that most kids love is a big exercise ball that they can play with. To a little kid, anything that is almost their size is just SO cool.

don't worry about the price ask his mom what she got maybe you can get something that matches such games to go with a game system or cars to go with the race track and also ask him what he wants.
