Yes it is possible but not probable. You can get pregnant any day of the month. Not as likely the first day of your period but it CAN happen. You should always always use a condom so you don't get pregnant or get AIDS.

I wouldnt worry if I were you, you should be fine if your period started the same day. What causes you to bleed during your period is the lining in your uterious to tear from not having a baby, because that lining is for your baby so when its not in use it tears off and causes bleeding.
