I remember a former coworker from a few years back who put the knife between my shoulders. He was under the mistaken idea that he and I were in a serious relationship, all because he and I had hung out a few times. When he failed to get the hint and I had to lay it on him, he got revenge by spreading nasty and malicious gossip about me and some other colleagues. He first told other people that I had been sleeping with the boss in an attempt to schmooze my way to a raise. Then, he went around telling people that I was hooked on illegal drugs- even making up a story about how'd he'd seen me shooting up! It was all I could do not to sue the daylights out of him(I wouldn't have been able to prove anything anyway, unfortunately).

My supposed best friend at the time and I had a fight and instead of solving it between ourselves she goes and uses a conversation we had against me to try to get my other friend to leave with her. Luckilly didnt work and I've had many more years of good times with the other friend and the backstabber got her due eventually as well.

When my husband cheated on me with an ugly girl. And when my in-laws had my sister-in-laws "best friend" who slept with my husband over to their house. While I was there, with my children. They knew that my husband and this girl had cheated but I didn't and they still let me come over when she was there. For months, through my pregnancy and she was around after my daughter was born. She (my daughter) was born with a birth defect, I had to pump because of it, I got multiple breast infections, we had thrush, she was allergic to dairy and I finally found out about it (the cheating) when we were in the hospital with my daughter for failure to thrive and the girl text messaged my husband. They knew I was going through all this, she knew, and they still let me come over and let her come over. Yeah, I found their knife, right here in my back.
