The Meaning of life? By that I suppose you mean the purpose of life. Life has only one purpose. The perpetuation of your species.

Well different things happen to different people. after death. Some people under the right conditions and environment are mummified. Others seem to deteriorate and return the the dust from which all life came quite rapidly. It really doesnt matter though as you will know nothing of the condition once you die it is over for you. xx

The meaning of life is to continue the species. There is nothing after death.

The meaning of life is to love as much as you can wherever you are.

What happens after death is anyone's guess, though I think the empirical evidence points towards reincarnation.

The whole obligation of man is to serve God
Eccl chapter 12

What happens at death? We die, Jesus liken it to sleep.

Eccl 9:5 & 10 say the dead are unconscience, and know nothing.

An after life is the promise of the resurrection, or re-creation.

To me it is pretty simple - and I find that virtually every religion says the same thing. We are creatures of spirit, come here to learn. When we die we return home and to our spirit existence - often to plan the next trip back. We come here to learn something we can only learn here - and I think we do it again and again as part of our education process.

Peace!

Life is ultimately meaningless. We are self-aware, and as such, can find meaning for ourselves if we so choose to, however.

There is nothing after life though beside to be pitched into the dirt, decay, and rot.
