Definitely. I asked a simple question regarding a Pink Floyd song, which almost everyone immediately replied rudely, as if a "true fan" would have already known the answer.
Yet, I never claimed to be a fan or expert of their music. I just love the particular song I asked about, since I had heard it on the radio several times and wanted to know what album it was on.
Music fans can be real assholes sometimes.

I actually got one the other day. It was not rude to me but it was rude to the question at hand. I find some people to be so shallow, rude, and crass. I think a lot of the people who respond in this way are comfortable because they hide behind the screen of their computer. Most would never say such things in public. If so, may God have mercy on them.

Never, but remember that many times your general question could have been easily answered on your own by doing a google search. Hence the rudeness.

It's happened to me a few times. Not too long ago, I got back an answer to a general question that was not only sexually charged, but a complete non sequitor as well. It was almost as if this person had no respect for either me or my question.

That happens all the time. Some people either don't care, or don't realize that there are rules on here. I just report them by clicking the flag underneath their answer. If you can't find the rule they're breaking, pick the closest one. They will get a notice, and if they keep doing it, their account will probably be disabled.
