I think he should die the way those people died.
Locked in a box in sweltering heat with no air.
I don't agree with illegal immigration, but no one deserves what he did to those people.

He needs the death penalty. He chose to kill 15 people and several others a long stay in the hospital which ended up costing the state of Texas thousands of dollars. I am tired of paying for all the medical bills when idiots like that trucker decide to abandon the human cargo.

I think he should get the death penalty-
anybody with any sense would realize you don't even leave a dog in a car with the windows rolled up.
Why the heck would you cram people into a freight trailer and expect anything any different than what happened?
What kind of person makes a decison to crawl into freight trailer?
Desperate is one thing- But this defies common sense.

This is the first I've heard of the case. Maybe there wasn't enough information in the article. It doesn't sound like it's a death penalty case to me. The guy's just the driver. He's sitting up there in the front seat of a van just very close to a noisy engine. He's clueless as to what's going on in the back. Maybe even has the radio going. If I was in on the sentencing process. No way would he get the death penalty. Prove he knew the van was air tight and I'll change my mind.

Life in prison, without the possibility of parole. The death penalty would be too easy on him. The fact that he's an immigrant is immaterial.

I dont care if he's an immigrant or an American, he is responsible for the death of 19 people. He needs to join them!!

I think that they should give him the death penalty. Why give him life in prision? I do not want to spend my tax dollars supporting his worthless butt! He had no regard for the lives of those people that died in that trailor.

Not a citizen but I bet he too claims he is just seeking a better life. He is guilty of the crime of bringing in illegals/ aiding and abetting criminals but as for murder well he did not force them into the truck.
