I can't have a chocolate or peppermint candy without sneezing. Once, at a friends birthday party, we were all gathered around the cake to sing "happy birthday" and I took one LOOK at the QUINTUPLE chocolate cake and commenced to a violent sneezing fit. Be it a piece of gum or a hershey kiss, it makes me sneeze!

The two don't have to be combine. It doesn't matter when or where I have some, I sneeze if I eat any.

I don't think the chocolate or the peppermint made you sneeze showing you you've got allergies. I think something there made you sneeze. The other two would have made you sick, vomit, dizzy, break out, etc, not just sneeze. It may have been the sweet smell of the two together, it is too much for me. it's overpowering and I just move, it doesn't make me sneeze though.

Sneezing is an interesting reaction, but not that severe. Do you have trouble digesting these foods?
