I'd save the baby. I'd feel bad about not saving both, but the baby is already there. And a burning building is not the same thing as an abortion. I'm not choosing to kill the embryos, I just can't save both at the same time. If I could, I would.

at first I thought about seriously answering this, then I realized your just trying to show how pro life is stupid.
there's no point to your question and when someone give an intelligent answer it's called nonsense, and made fun of.
See either way in your burning building scenario, someone loses so it doesn't matter which one we pick you could still say that we didn't choose life. And abortion isn't about a 6-12 month old bayb being murdered, it's about those 50 embryos that are murdered before they can take their first breath of air.
murder is murder-yet man has reduced human life to nothing more than a fundamental right. that's stupid.

I would not follow instructions that would cause me to chose who would live and who would die,
So I would place the baby on the tray with the embryo's and run like crazy to get out of there.
By the way what are embryo's doing on a tray? Can they live on a Tray?

"Realized" life?? Come on!
They are ALL "realized". You'd probably grab the baby first just because it's easier to carry, but if for some reason you cannot save the 50 embryos, God will understand your weakness. But it would apply the same as if there were two born babies there instead, and you could only save one. God would not blame you if you couldn't save the second baby.
The real issue here is that you have put yourself on the same platform as the Nazis - "they're going to die anyway so they're not worth saving." If a Nazi has declared that Jews are non-persons, and has it legally defined as such, and if one of the concentration camp barracks catches on fire with 50 Jews inside, the Nazi wouldn't raise a finger to save them. This is the same attitude that you have toward unborn persons, and it's a slippery slope.

Well put, but I have other reasons I can't respect pro-lifers. Most do not respect life at all, I'm not a vegetarian either, but I can't respect pro-lifers unless they care for all life. Not just embryos that can not feel pain, but maybe they should look at all the animals which are slaughtered while fully aware of it. Most animals feel pain in very similar ways to humans. Embryos during the first two tri-mesters do not have that ability.

ooh hard one the live baby just because I have seen it therefore I know that it has potential to survive and be something. I would have a broken heart over the loss of 50 potential lives but know that I made the right decision in time.. Good question what would you do?

Assuming the 50 were to be implanted and allowed to grow, the 50. If they were on the tray to be discarded, the 1 baby.

A dilemma no one should have to ponder. The embryos will not survive long without a host, whereas, the baby already is weaned of the womb. There you have it.

HA! seem at each one of those adult men! it is strange how professional-lifers are frequently Christians, isn't it? i'm professional-determination, yet i will answer for the heck of it. i'd keep the new child. i do not even understand if the embryos are human, or perhaps if that in the experience that they were it is unlike they understand what's occurring in any case. they're no longer even totally stronger organisms.

I am not a pro-lifer. I'm curious though about why the pro-life community didn't raise objections when the government decided that they will not pay for medical care for babies born to illegal immigrants....some babies may die because of this...so why don't you care? Why do you seem to care much more about pre-born life than after-born life?
