I hate it when people offer to pray for me, but they're usually praying that I become straight/become Christian/am cured of a nervous disorder which HAS no cure. The first two I find VERY offensive because that's like saying they dislike WHO I am when I'm personally quite happy and comfortable with it, and the last I find ridiculous.

You're assuming prayer is a finite activity, instead of an infinite gift. They're not taking away your obligation to pray or offering to shoulder your karmic burden; they are merely promising to send good thoughts and hopes for your sake.
Stop being a smarta$$ and just appreciate that someone wants to do something nice for you.

I have always disliked that statement Christians make. What gives them the right to pray for me. I don't do spells for them without their permission. And I know I never gave permission to Christians to pray for me. Makes me wonder, are they praying for me or preying on me.

That' like saying, if I say I'll deposit $1 in your retirement account you don't need to do it too.

I pray for you because you can not pray for yourself... the prayers of the non-believer are not heard by God.
