At 4 years old Im now expecting our child to look like me, but she doesn't.. and I have a feeling she cheated on me and I may not be the dad. Is it normal for a kid not to look like their dad? Or should I kick her out and go for full custody?

don't jump the gun not every child looks like both there parents ask yourself how you bond with the child first , if you don't and you have doubts then you should seek a DNA test to find out , if you want to know.

Sounds like you have some real crap going on in your head right now, huh?
The only way to be sure is a blood or DNA test. Blood tests won't say you are the father, but they would say you are not the father. DNA would be 99.9999% sure.
As far as custody? You're being a bit cocky. Unless the situation is really out of the normal (such as a drug addict) she will get custody and you'll pay child support and possibly alimony.
Hard truth, but the way of the world, buddy.

Wow....slow down a little. First off sometimes offspring can vary in phentypic (physical genetic) traits. Sometimes recessive traits are expressed in the child whereas the dominant version could be expressed in you. So it is sometimes normal for the child not to look like a carbon copy of their parents. Now if the kid looks asian or is black and you and the mother have no one in the family like that, I would say, definitely not your child. But I'd slow down, sometimes the child doesn't look too much like one parent or the other. I would suggest you have a DNA test done to see whether your genetic material is in the child or not, and then decide from the results. Good luck, hope everything goes alright.

Well before you pull any Jerry Springer's....find out before you go and boot her out AND also - if you aren't the dad....do you really have a chance at full custody? You wouldn't be the biological dad ....
In terms of not looking like you....can't answer that one...you would need to have a paternity test done whether you want to or not....esp if you are using this as grounds for your divorce.
You sound bitter that alot of the women didn't address that she cheated or potentially cheated.....let's assume she did then....not cool and very messed up if it wasn't your baby and she had you raise it. BUT - assuming that you love your daughter because you are her dad.....you need to put her first right now because after all this is through....your daughter is going to be the one that has to endure all the hardships and problems.....

How a child looks is dependant on BOTH parents. There is a set chance that a child will develop certain hereditary traits. One parent may have blond hair and the other brown, yet the child may have hair as black as ravens feathers. My parents hair is dirty (dark) blond, while mine is a dark silver. My sister and I have up-turned noses, neither of my parents do. I am the only person in my immediate family with hitchhikers thumb (my thumbs can go back at a 45 degree angle, rather than 0. Your child may have simply just inherited traits in your family or your wife's that you did not.
There is of course the chance that your wife cheated on you, but I wouldn't leap to conclusions unless absolutely necessary, if only for your child sake.

I look nothing like my mother, and I know that even if she cheated on my dad, I'm still her's. It's all simple genetics. No one looks like a clone of their parents.
And if you're not the father and you proved it with a paternity test, you have no right to custody, biologically. If she cheated on you (and that's doubtful if all you have to go on is that the kid doesn't look like you), it'd be her kid and the kid of the man who fathered it. You'd have very little chance in a court of law.

No. Women can cheat. It's just that JUST because the child doesn't look just like you doesn't mean that the child is not yours. And the truth stands. If you got a DNA test that said the child isn't yours, you'd have no chance in a court of law to get custody. The state would get the kid.

Alright... Is say genetics... your girlfriend has dark eyes dark hair? Strong bone features, etc. Sure it is a possibility that she cheated on you but the only way to know is bring her on Maury (jk jk) but seriously I'm sure if she denies that she cheated on you and that your daughter is your kid she probably is and you shouldn't pry too far because then you'll look like a jerk. So all in all MAKE SURE that this kid doesn't have one genetic rait of yours... (attached ears, able to curl tongue, heavy/light, etc.) And check your parents and grandparents if they have anything in common... if not then go for the DNA and you know what happens after that. Don't be to quick to judge and make a bad decision!

It's normal the kid may not look like you... it may looked like her mother maybe your wife have much stronger genes when shes developing inside her womb. And one more thing also, if you doubt about your wife cheated on you, then it can cause distortion in your vision and you will be accusive of anyting. You can have DNA test if you want to be sure it's your child.

I think the fact that you're willing to kick out your wife, the woman you supposedly love and the mother of your child, is more cause for concern in your marriage than if she cheated on you. A marriage is trust and commitment, you've obviously lost your side of the promise. If I ever found my husband posted a question like this, or accused me of cheating on him, he'd be out on the curb in a heartbeat. What horrible things to say about your wife, especially unfounded.
