We have been off and on for about a year. I'm not sure what I should get him. Right now we are off but I would still like to get him a gift. I just don't know what would be a good gift but not to pricey.

If you're currently not together, stay away from anything super-personal, or that will give him the message that you're trying to get back together, and he may see it as needy. Do you have some sort of inside joke or favorite movie or something? I would stick with a gag gift based on something funny you both like. For instance, if you're both into the Family Guy and quote lines at each other from the show and stuff, you should get him a talking Stewie doll or something that is obviously meant to be funny. STAY AWAY from romantic gifts, clothes, or cologne!!

A massage package. Bring over mistletoe..hold it over his head..give him a sweet peck and a mile and present a bottle of wine..some fine cheeses, crackers and a little love note in a gift bag thing or basket..held behind your back until you get that smooch! Some big fuzzy dinosaur slippers. A really soft and cuddly blanket..so everytime he wraps himself up in it ..he thinks of you. An accessory for his hobbie (fly fishing, golfing, baseball, etc-sport shop novelty item not your local department store..the novelty shops have the best loot!) A bicycle if you own one and he doesn't..so in the spring you two can go out cycling together. A really pretty picture of you in a really nice frame w/ a gift certificate to get both of your pictures taken...tell him that is the part of the present for you! Fannie May chocolates - they are the bomb!! What does he do?
