You will have to keep an eye on them. Lovebirds can be very aggresive, especially at breeding time. Many people try to colony breed lovebirds (keeping more than one pair in a cage) and find that one bird always seems to get singled out and picked on. You'll have to watch and be ready to separate the birds if this happens. Also, you will have to introduce all the birds at once. If you throw a new pair into a cage where another pair has already settled in you are in for some serious aggression that could mean a dead bird!

You need a big enough cage for sure. Otherwise it works. The place I bought mine kept many pairs in a huge floor to ceiling cage with many nest boxes. They all did fine!

Well first off if it's a male and female it's okay you just have to watch them they may lay eggs. If it's male/male or female/female it just depends on the bird and if they get along with each other. Usually it's okay if the get along.

if the cage is big enough, maybe. but be careful. lovebird are very territorial when it comes to other birds in their cage. we put my lovebirds with my inlaws lovebirds and they tried to kill my birds. it will be better if the birds know each other i guess.
