Yes because it is concentrated and you need to add water or milk. It's better when you swap half the water for mill.
You should see the mushroom soup lol.. all the gray bits of mushroom. Yum appetizing.

Yes, it is supposed to be like that because you have to add a can of liquid. If it was thin then you would question the thickness of the final out come of the soup. It is like that I think because the really thick cream soups aren't that thin when finished cooking.

The reason why it's so thick is because it's condensed. The water has been removed, obviously so more than one serving will fit in a small can! After it's heated it will take on a smooth, delightful texture, with no lumps. If the prepared soup has lumps then it probably hasn't been cooked or stirred long enough.
Tomato soup- yummy!

yes it is suppose to be thick. and you are suppose to add a can of water not just a cup. and if you store the soup upside down it will come out easier.

Yes and that's really gross. It's condensed. It's too sweet like syrup for me. You can't even taste the tomato. Eat some REAL tomato soup instead that's more like tomato sauce. You'll never want tomato syrup from a can again.

eco-friendly Bean Casserole is a classic. very nice. i'm a touch finished prepare dinner, and function by no skill been able tomake the hen & Rice dish come out w/ the rice tender! i have lined it, not lined it, extra more advantageous water, a lot less water, baked longer, baked shorter, it doesn't remember. So I make a pot of rice on the range, and only baked the hen interior the soup/sauce. yet i ought to have somewhat not dirty-ed up yet another pot.

Yes I remember that soup quite well and that's the way it was when I was growing up. It is the worst of all the Campbell's soups too in my estimation.

yep, that's the campbell's tomato soup I remember, only we always added a can of water, not a cup.Use a whisk when mixing in the water and it's much smoother and easier on the hand.
