Sperm and egg never meet to create these embryos, they are created by injecting DNA from a tissue cell into an egg who's neucleus has been removed and then chemically stimulated to grow into a zygote. If implanted into a surrogate mother this zygote could mature into a child. What is the opinion of this sort of life? If it's not the product of a mother and a father is it still protected under the same ideals?

baby is a baby, doesn't matter how it got there. If it has a heartbeat and sensations it should have the same rights as a traditional pregnancy.
But if you are asking if I'm for cloning.....not the entire human/animal. I can see organs etc..But that kind of technology can be extremely dangerous.

The Bible says, "Life is in the blood." So there is an argument that Life does not begin until blood is developed. This is a difficult question. I choose to look at the end result. If a couple desires a child, but cannot, I believe such efforts are acceptable. However, adoption is a better alternative, because that is what God does with us... adopts us into His family and loves us as one of His own. I have met wonderful families recently with adopted kids from third world areas. And they are marvelous to watch them explore and grow.

Ok well considering how Dolly died back in like 1997 like what 24 hours after being cloned I would expect humans to die a lot faster. Cloning is in itself stupid. Sure it may be a "human" if you can even call it that but it doesn't have feelings or behave the same way as the child from which it was cloned from. I find it absolutely appalling that parents who delivered dead babies or have dead kids would have some tissue taken from the dead child just to get their kids back. No it is not protected. And besides who decided for humans to play GOD?! Because that is what these people are doing is playing God. Remember Jurassic Park where they cloned dinosaurs and then the Dinosaurs killed off all the researchers and everyone else? Yeah that's the way it'll be if we clone people.

I think that the antediluvians did much the same thing as what you are suggesting. In my opinion, what you are suggesting is sinful, and an abomination, and if allowed to continue would lead to a further moral degradation of our society. But it should be considered human and afforded the same rights a we enjoy. But I believe that such experiments should be halted, as they have been going on for years now and have not yielded any good results, however the experiments on adult stem sells has yielded good results and should be funded.

Ye shall be as gods.

We can create new strains of plants. We can cross-breed animals. We can manipulate life.

The child is human. It's life was allowed and it grew. For a non-believer, it is a great success. Life is created. Albeit, using life to do it. For the believer, it is accepted that the manipulation was allowed, and the soul was granted. So, either way, the child is equal to any other conceived child. Same laws, ideas and expectations, apply.

Shouldn't do it. But if such an embryo is created, it should not be destroyed.

As to what status such a child would have...that depends on the religious basis of the particular denomination the family involved observes...and I don't believe any well researched opinions have been drafted on this subject from religious leaders.

Sure. It's simply a human being at that stage of development. Remember, you were once a zygote, too.
