Hi all, you know those calculator batteries? I was changing them one time and one of them went missing. Not sure if baby swallowed it. How do I know, and what should I do?

I would take the baby to the ER and explain that the battery went missing and they can do an x-ray but it should not really harm the baby if he/she is breathing ok then it did not block the air way and just give it a couple of hours or days and it will come out in the diaper , if ya get my drift . lol

They will do surgery to remove the battery and repair any damage caused by the battery. This is a serious condition and since the child swalled a battery, this simply can't be pooped out. The battery contains high levels of toxins that are dangerous to people, and children especilally.

You definetly need to take the baby to the er and get an x-ray. If the baby did swallow the battery, it could cause big problems.

Get your baby to the hospital now! If your child swallowed one of those small round batteries it could cause some serious damage or even death! Better to be safe than sorry!

Get the baby to the doctor for an x-ray immediately. Batteries are hazardous materials!

Take her to the emergency room immediately. Battery acid can be very painful and fatal. Call them while you're on the way or before you leave so they can be prepared to x-ray her immediately. They likely won't want to waste any time with it.
