On one of my last questions I had a response from an ex-alcoholic that inspired me. God help him overcome his problem. God helped me overcome some past hurts. What has he done for you?

When i was ran over by a semi he healed me. When i had a heart attack and laid dead on my bed for 3 weeks he came and healed me of that. When i was persucated by my wife in court for 5 years he destroyed a evil and wicked judge. When i was being attacked by many people who i did not even know he destroyed them because i prayed for them. When i was wounded he came and healed my wounds. This was over 7 years and he paid the bills and keep me. When i went blind he opened my eyes. When i could not stand he carried me. The list Gos on and on. What have i over come my baptist roots. My thinking. My concept of God. My wisdom. My false theolgy. My ways. My desires.

God has helped me over come self importance over others.I now love him first,others second and myself third.I finally truly enjoy life doing good for others.I see the beauty in all he has created.Even negative people do not get me down.I pray for them and strive for a better world each day.I try to do some thing nice for somone every day.I feel i am putting loveing thoughts out into the world by my actions and deeds

I firmly believe if I had not heard and responded to God when I did that I would not be writting this right now... I would have ended it all 6 yrs ago... I now have the assurance of my Salvation... That is all I need.... I know he will give me the strength to endure the concequences of my messed up life... any thing else he may provide will just be extra sunshine on my walk to eternity with Him...

Not eating enough pasta.
