What unique gifts did you give your attendants at your wedding?

Last year I met a brde who decided to give an iMemoryBook to each one of her guests. Here is what she did:

She wrote her story of how they met and how they got engaged, and then she got the groom to do the same. Then she put in all her favorite photos of them two ot them.

When she was finished she printed a 8.5x6.5 inch 20 page wedding memory book for each of the guests. From what I understand it was a big hit.

How often do you really get to hear the story of the bride and the groom in that kind of a fun way? It won't get tossed to the garbage.

Personally, I think something that is unique and special to each attendant is most appropriate. Although it can be a bit more work than the traditional jewelry/flask type of gifts (which are also very lovely), a gift tailored to the attendant's likes is always nice.

Now, that may mean that a personalized tote filled with bath and body items, some cocoa/coffee, etc. may work beautifully for all of the girls. But if you have a girl that isn't quite into that kind of stuff, you should try to give her something that fits her personality. If she likes music, maybe a gift certificate to a music store or something like that. A book that she likes, etc.

I'm doing gift baskets for all of my girls filled with little things they personally like and that are individual to them.

I'm not really a huge fan of giving attendants items that they may never use again (waste of your money, really). I like to give (and receive) items I can use again. Like a tote... or jewelry that can be worn again... or gift certificates.

Good luck!

I gave my bridesmaids pearl earrings. My husband gave our groomsmen different things. Best man-engraved flask. Usher-leather journal with initials embossed on the cover (he's a writer). You can do all kinds of stuff. Things Remembered has tons of great ideas. Good luck and congrats!

Since all three of my bridesmaids had such different tastes, I gave them each a gift certificate to create their own own purses for the wedding. They could choose the style, color of the ouside, and color of the inside.

Lot's of good suggestions here. http://topweddingsites.com/newsletter.htm Specifically, I like the friendship bracelets and necklaces. They seem meaningful and make a good keepsake.
