Want a better idea? SC Johnsons makes Christmas candles in glass jars. There's pine, spicey apple, cinnamon, grandma's baking. They're safe and pretty and smell better than any spray you get. you'll find them in Walmart.

You jsut made me think of a fake tree decorated with lots of those pintetree car fresheners! How tackily funny.

I would try Peir 1 for the spray. They have lots of good ones that don't reek of alcohol. Spray it onto any ornaments that might hold a scent, like anything you have with cloth on it or any animals. Maybe you could even get some really small ring sets like they use in quilting and embroidery and some mesh material and stuff the mesh with pine scented potpourri and fit that between the rings. Put a bow on it and Voila, giftable ornaments! And tree smell.
