if you are heavy, maybe losing weight will slim your face some, but not much. I know several people who are quite thin, but just have a full face. If you are young, it may be "baby fat" and it could slim as you age. There isnt much you can do if thats how its meant to be. Youll have that face for the REST OF YOUR LIFE, and you may even pass it to your kids. Just love yourself and get used to it.

If that's your basic facial structure, you can't actually change it without plastic surgery. However, there are lots of makeup tricks you can do to minimize the roundness of your face. For example, you could contour your cheeks by blending different colors of blush on different parts of your cheeks. Get one of those blush compacts that has a dark, medium, and light shade in it. You can get a Cover Girl or Maybelline one, they're cheap and they work well. OK, so you start with the dark color. Very lightly, sweep the dark color under your cheekbone (suck your face in and make fish-face so you can tell where your cheekbone ends) and go back all the way to your hairline. Nest, take the light color and sweep it right above the dark blush. Finish by putting the medium color on the apples of your cheeks (that's the part that sticks out the most right under your eye when you smile wide). Now, make sure you blend well, because you don't want to see the separate colors (SOOO 80's!!) The dark blush will make your cheeks appear more hollow and angular, especially in pictures. Try it!!

Don't do anything rash like go for plastic surgery becasue, chances are, your face is gorgeous just the way it is! Your best bet is a snappy haircut that flatters your face shape. Your hairstylist can help you determine what would make you look the best.

Also, where and how you apply your blush is crucial. If you're applying it in a manner that "widens" your face, then it would be a great (and fun!) idea to consult a professional makeup artist for tips. Get several opinions, because one artist's techniques may be different from another's. What a fun way to spend a weekend... getting made over a few times!

If you feel that your face is too round and that your cheeks are big, do this:

1) If you have full lips. Play them up, line them in a color similar to your lip stain or lip stick. It will make your lips stand out and draw attention away from any undesired fullness.
2) If you have open eyes, try lining them (But so it softly, no harsh thick lines--soft black, dark emerald green, and chocolate brown colors look lovely on all skin tones.) Wear some mascara too.
3) Lastly, don't worry about it. If everyone else thinks it is cute, then obviously there is nothing wrong with it. No one wants to look hollow faced.
In my opinion.

I have your exact same issue, I'm thin all over but my face makes me look chubby! The best thing you (we) can do is have a proper haircut (at least shoulder length, and with layers) and play around with different makeup styles to offset the roundness of your face. I went to sephora and had them show me how to contour bronzer and blush on my cheeks to create visual angles to make my face appear less round. I play up my eyes more than anything because it draws attention away from my chipmunk cheeks. I also love long sideswept bangs because it breaks up the circle look of your face. Overall, the most important thing you can do is get a great haircut...look at pictures of celebrities who have round faces and notice how they do their hair. When you are at the salon, make sure you discuss how you want the style to elongate your face. Good luck!! =)

lol.. it does sound cute. my friend says the exact same thing, but she has really awesome cheekbones and her face is not Round, but the cheekbones lift when she smiles. she always feels badly about it, but everyone else thinks it's Gorgeous... :) anyways... u can try putting on blush in an upwards motion, from the side of the cheeks up to your hair line, almost to the sides of the eyebrows. this is to create the look of contouring shape , giving u a more "hollow" faced look. just practice, and don't worry, as long as people think it's cute u got something positive on ur side! :)

Play with different hairstyles. You may notice that certain ways are more flattering to your face. For example, try making sure your hair isn't behind your ears
