I met someone a couple weeks ago & we hit it off but he didnt ask for my number, but he facebooked (haha) me the next day & we made small talk. A couple days after he asked me if I wanted to get together that evening, I couldn't but I suggested we get together next Friday. That Friday we hang out together w/ some friends & it didnt go very well, he was flirting w/ my friends in front of me & I felt like I was being ignored so I left. He called me a few times that night though & asked me to come back, which I didn't. 2 days later I text him looking for an item I left at his house. I had to make an effort to even call it a conversation. He said he was in a movie so I stopped trying to talk, but he didnt bother calling me after to tell me if he had it. I decided that he just wasn't that into me. I was all set until this morning when he texts me & the shoe is on the other foot. He is asking questions etc. Now I don't know what to do? I think I may really like this guy but he is confusing.

It sounds like he saw you as a possiblity. Probably thought you were cute.

He must have got more out of your friends and moved on.

I wouldn't dwell on it and move on. It should make you feel good he thought you were cute but he obviously isn't for you if he is flirting with your friends in front of you.

Well I would just get your item that you left at his house and be done with it. It does seem that he is playing games with you. So stick with your reason of why you contacted him in the first place and be done with it. If he acts like he has grown up and wants to flirt with you and not your friends then maybe you could go out with him again, but I know I wouldn't want to go out with him again. He really showed you who he was and sure he can "act" like he isn't like now that he knows that bothers you but he would be FAKING it. I would just get what's you need and move on and find another guy will respect you and not make you feel like crap.

I think you should call him 50000 times a day and see if he likes you. If he says yes each time he might like you.

If he says NO even once just start going to his house and do things to get his attention. Like spray paint I KNOW YOU LOVE ME on his front door, or kill his pet dog that you KNOW just talks to him about you all the time. The dog is always telling him to NEVER TALK TO HER AGAIN CAUSE SHE'S PYSCHO! So if you off the dog you will prove your love to him he will marry you and you wil have 137 childen together!

seems like hes already messed up by flirting with your friends, he should have run after you, and if he wanted to work it out he wouldnt have turned down the chance and watched a movie instead, honey if your relationship to him is worth less than $11.00, hes definatly not the one.

Nope, he is a silly little boy and he loves the attention and drama, but not you. Forget him (and I hope your 'item' was of no value, for it looks like you are not going to be getting it back!)

He may have some interest, but obviously not enough to be consistent, so if I were you I would forget about him. If a guy really likes you, he'll let you know...it won't be ambiguous.

He sounds immature to me, like about 8th grade level...Unless he starts giving you some clear signals I would drop it.

well, I'd sit him down, talk to him one on one and find out if he really likes you because as long as you guys are by yourself, he's more likely to tell you the truth because no ones around.
