aways away from one another in different states and you have been together for 4 years and you love him very much and wanted nothing more than to be with him and have expressed that and have stated that you are willing to move to be with him but there has never really been a date set, what would you make of that?

He moved away almost 10 months ago and I haven't seen him since besides a picture and we talk daily. I am just curious as to open opinions on this.

Start making a more realistic time, dont make an exact date but just...make an exact month or year and then work on it

I think he cares for you a lot because you both are still together. However, it seems like he new a life already where he is and you may not fit. How often do you visit? If you have visited then what was his social life like? These are things you have to ask yourself so if I were you I would consider him a long-distance very close friend and don't bring the subject up about moving there and see if he forgets about it or not. You should ask him if you guys need to start dating other people since he appears unsure to you.
