Men don't generally wear engagement rings that I know of, but I suppose the left ring finger would be okay, as it would be for the wedding ring. I believe it is in Ireland that they were a claddagh ring on the right ring finger?

The same finger as females wear their rings on. It's America and we have a way of doing things. I don't think there are any acceptable fingers to wear a wedding/engagement ring on.

Wedding rings should be worn on the ring finger of the lft hand[next to the pinky],although nowadays some males are taken with wearing them on their right hands instead. I wear a pinky ring on my left ring finger[I am not married] and I also wear a large ring on my ring finger on my right hand[ college rings, football rings..are worn here also]
Most males only wear a wedding ring.I am single, being a widower of many years..and I now wear the two rings as described above.I wear my watch on my left hand also.
