The reason is because of our comfortably. The reason Jesus said that it's easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than a rich person (or in this case nation) to get into Heaven is that person feels that they earned everything on their own and do not need help from anyone else. This type of mentality keeps most of us from truly giving everything to God and believing that He can do something without our help. Many of the places that have the amazing miracles, and I have visited and seen them first hand, is because these people don't t have much and our willing to ask and believe outside of themselves for answers. I hope, not that our nation becomes poor, but that we will remember that it's because the Forefathers did have faith and give it all to God is why we are so blessed. And we remember that all these good thing come from God so we won't boast and not look at Him for help. If we go back to that mentality then we'll see more miracles here.

The healing of the body, is a direct response to the healing of the spirit or soul. One must have an certain amount of faith to be healed, as well, the Healer, must be of a higher evolve state than the average person. There is more science envolved in the healing of others than what is genuinely known, and/or accepted in the United States. The U.S. is presently beginning it's interest in spiritual healing, where as many countries in the world today, have been doing this for centuries.

Always remember that healing is a spiritually based action, it has no material worth, or value. You cannot sell it or buy it. What is freely gained, is freely given. An individual cannot access the level of purity and evolution needed to heal others, if they ask for objects in exchange for it.

Interesting question, and I think there may be some truth to it, although I'm not sure I know why.

I do know that when it comes to medicine, we in America are very impressed by science. All of our advertisements for medicines appeal to science. If a doctor says he or she supports a medicine, then we take that as the gospel truth. It's reinforced in all of our advertisements and media.

It may simply be that in other places, they don't have as good healthcare, and so their first options for healing may not be the modern medical methods. So they "have" to rely on faith as part of their healing. Here, we have it "easy." We don't "need" faith.

And in fact, I believe we are suffering on account of it. We have neglected the non-physical elements of health. This is why I love Dr. Weil! He is trying to get people to understand that there's more to health than just the physical. There is also the emotional and spiritual.

This depends on the individual nd there faith in the religion and there belief.

There are sects of the Christianity that practise faith healing in USA. They do not even see a doctor. For every true believing minister are few profiteers, time to time Media has done good job of exposing them.

It depends on your belief, if it gives you piece of mind then enjoy it.

Other the that, I wil take any effect that is good, even if it is a placebo effects.

In america we are able to often supply what we want so our need is often directed towards wordly answers being the solution. Our eyes have been trained to look around us instead of up. When it doesn't come we then seek God and Then easily give up on prayers when there is not immediate gratifacation. We tend to ran to the phone instead of the throne.

Yes, because they proclaim that they are true Christian but one who tries to evaluate their behaviour in terms of religion would have no option but to say that they do not have faith or they are Hippocrates. There are thousands of practical examples in their society, I will cite few: gay-marriage, Abortion, women's right, the philosophy adopted is against the teaching of the Bible.
