I say ears but really it's behind the ears and down my throat a bit. It drives me crazy. Sometimes I kinda make this suction in the back of my throat that helps relive it and these small waxy (smelly?!) chunks come out. Sometimes you can even see these chunks in the back of my throat like seeping out or something. I'm sure it's allergy related but can't find anything specific on the web. What is it and how do I deal with it? Very nasty, sorry if your squimish.

Could be allergy-related sinusitis. You could try some over-the-counter products that contain antihistamine. Decongestants and expectorants also may relieve symptoms. I have the same problem, and i use zyrtec-D (prescription) and 12-hour mucinex - the combo clears it is up almost completely.
