Any organization that wnats to help the helpless should be allowedto, and have a charity status, UNLESS they put provisions on that aid like some religious based organizations do. If you have to join a specific religious group to get that aid, that's not charity, but blackmail. That is why the UN peacekeeping troops and watchdogs are so necessary, to keep the aid flowing to ALL the needy, not just specific groups.
