According to the Bible, the only unforgiveable sin is blaspheme against the Holy Spirt (Luke 12:10).

You can't really experience God directly, and Jesus died almost 2000 years ago BUT the Holy Spirit is right here and now.

But suppose you try to feel the Holy Spirit, and you don't...

Suppose thoughts enter into your mind that you don't feel the Holy Spirit and you realize that others may just be delusioning theselves into thinking that they feel the Holy Spirit...

Then suppose you realize that there is no more reason or evidence to believe in the Holy Spirit than there is to believe in pink unicorns...

Then you realize, 'haven't I just blasphemied the Holy Spirit?'

No. You have committed the sin of being human.
This is a bit tough but blaspheming the Holy Spirit is more than what you're describing. Everyone has moments of doubt -- they're lying if they can't admit that.
People DO delude themselves into thinking they've felt the moving of the Holy Spirit or that they heard God telling them to do something. It's a very personal thing and you will know if it happens to you.
We don't see God but we know that God is all around us. How? By our faith, which is "the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things unseen." Heb 11:1
None of the above is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit which is:
a refusal to accept clear evidence of the Holy Spirit as when the Pharisees questioned the authority by which Jesus performed miracles on the blind and dumb and they then attributed the miracles to Satan. If someone willfully and continually rejects the holiness of the Holy Spirit and calls it work of Satan instead, it follows by logic that they can not be forgiven because they reject and show comtempt for the very being who would forgive them. God's forgiveness knows no bounds as long as one repents.

first of all, you can't try to feel the Holy Spirit, we have no say when the HS is upon us. Not being able to believe is not a sin either. Speaking or thinking about something evil is not the sin, the sin is in the temptation or the actual acted out action of the thought that represents the sin. If you read the Bible more in a study sense, you will learn these things...

But suppose you try to feel the Holy Spirit, and you don't...

Everyone goes through that at times. No one feels the Holy Spirit all of the time, and some times the feeling is stronger than at other times. But the feelings are not an accurate measure. The Holy Spirit is always real and with us no matter how we feel.

The rest of what you have said are just thoughts and questions. They are valid questions, but the truth is God promised never to leave us or forsake us. He also said His ways are higher than our ways. As humans we don't always feel Him, and there is alot we don't see or understand. But as wise friend once told me, "God is God no matter what happens or how we feel."

We as people ask questions like that all of the time and we spend our lives trying to figure it all out, but that is not blaspheming the Holy Spirit. To blasphemies the Holy Spirit is to know God/The Holy Spirit and to willingly reject the Holy Spirit and reject salvation. It is to say, "God, I know you, and I don't want you."

But all you have described is merely asking question's. That is not the same.

Context, my friend....context. Read the whole section....Jesus gives the answer as to what "blasphemy" against the Holy Spirit is all about.

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is simply this: to say the the Holy Spirit is not of God, but of the Devil (Beelzebub).

It's really quite clear, if you read more than one verse at a time and randomly pick out verses to challenge...

"suppose you try to feel the Holy Spirit" -means what?
"suppose you realize there is no more reason or evidence to believe" -You would be 'rational'.

Having faith does not mean you have to give up reason.

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is rejecting what the Holy Spirit is doing regardless of what your spirit witnesses. It can be thought, word, or deed.

some thing spoke of as conviction will come to activity my memory of the sin. i comprehend that all and sundry sin has that is very own cost, the indulgence of the thought-approximately adultery is a few thing own that i could manage on an identical time as the incredibly act of adultery incorporates many extra human beings and has extra beneficial outcomes and is a greater burden on my experience of right and incorrect. The "rewards" do not tournament as much as the cost i will finally end up paying for the act so this is extra helpful to repent and not indulge in the act of the sin.

You are correct!!

Sadly to say, I was "sinning" this way!! I was thinking way too much and very much questioned my faith... There is no happy ending to this because I am no longer religous at all! Thinking asks too many questions where the answers are not answers, they are just "you must believe."

Many people in history have been persecuted because they did too much thinking and questioning. There are many days when I wish that I didn't have so many questions but Questions are a part of Human nature as is religion!!

Believe in a "higher being" or not, does not justify your moral belifes at all!! Many think that if you are an athiest you have bad morals! No sir! I am much more "Christian like" than many Christians I know...

Suppose, suppose, suppose.

You could go on all day,

It is simple, and the Catholic Church encourages education. I know of no other that requires you to go though as much instruction so you really understand the faith and why you are joining than the Catholic Church.

Most just want you to walk in, say I believe in __________ and leave some cash, we will hit the details later.

Peace and God Bless
