I just started this yahoo answers thing. It's a fun way for people to help eachother out with personal issues, or questions they never knew the answer to. Overall, pretty fun! Has anyone met someone here, or on line period? I like meeting people online, gives me an idea of who I would like to meet that has certain things in common with me. Not so much for dating, I like meeting people all together.
Where I live, I do stand out as far as everyone people only into hip hop, smoking weed, street fighting. Yeah, I defenitly don't fit in that crowd, but to each is own!

Actually, yes. I dated a lot of people I met online. I used to have a profile on American Singles; that's where I met my man. We saw each other's picture online and profile, and since neither of us wanted to pay, we couldn't contact each other on there. However, I was smart enough to try the same name in the messengers, and sure enough I found him! We ten started talking online a lot, then the phone. We finally met last November. We are it for each other. So yea, I recommend trying it. Just make sure you first meet the people in a public place, like at at a mall (inside, not in the parking lot), and it's not a bad idea to bring a friend with you as well. Meeting someone online can't be any more dangerous than in a bar, right? Just be safe and have fun! Good luck!

I've never met anyone here, but I've met a lot of great people on 360. I haven't met them face to face, but there are some people there that I consider true friends.
