I meant in checkers not a show...sorry.. He has been out of a job for about 4 months now and cant get one. He has never asked for money at all but I have got to know him and like him.

It depends on the relation hip you both have. But if he has not asked you for a loan, don't offer. I say this because he might get offended, and if you really think about it, if you loaned him money, do you really expect to get it back if he has not been working for a long time? If you can afford it and it does not bother you to get it back, go for it, good luck. PS - Can I borrow some $$ (LOL)

i know you mean well but i would not part with anything...this guy may use people with his sob stories..he could be ripping someone of right now as we speak, your intentions are good but don't be hoodwinked into this...lots of people get to know strangers and then start telling them their downfalls just to get cash out of them....don't be fooled sweetie....keep your money in your pocket...but wish the person well for the future....

If he's never asked you, you shouldn't do it. Even if he asks you, you shouldn't do it. He's not a relative or someone you would call a close friend, right? You have to be really careful and not let yourself be fooled.
