It depends where the cyst is and how big it is - and if it's a true cyst. If it is, then surgical removal is best. However, if it's just a bump, it can be a stye, in which case a warm compress three times per day for a few days should help. The compress must be warm. If it doesn't go away or gets worse, you should see your doctor.

Put a wet rag in the microwave and heat it. Get the temperature as hot as you can stand it without burning your skin. Carefully place the heated rag on the lid for a few minutes at a time. Do this several times a day for a couple days and the cyst will go away.

You're going to have to break down and see a doctor. The cyst may get larger and start interferring with your vision, or it can even become infected. So go and get that thing taken care of. Best of luck to you.

If it is visable scrape off the "bump" with sterile object. If it is under the eye lid, you must either wait it out or go to a Dr.
