I have a very skittish cat who hates car rides and I would suggest trying Bach Rescue Remedy which u can get at health food stores..it is a liquid and you can rub a couple of drops into the cat's ears and rub it on the back of its head..u can also give it orally with the dropper and dilute it with a bit of water. There is also a homeopathic remedy called Aconitum which are tiny pellets that dissolve..just put about 10 pellets in the cap and pop it into the cats mouth. The Bach rescue remedy can be used by humans or pets and I have had amazing results using it..it is very calming to the cat and not expensive at all. There is a book on Bach remedies which suggests different remedies for all kinds of cat issues and they really work well

Yes, feed a good quality food.
Our pets need quality pet food. Read the ingredients list and learn what the stuff on there is and what it does (or does not do) to/for our pets. A quick pet food 101. If the pet food contains corn/corn products or by products it is a poor quality food. Do not pay attention to advertising, they all say there food is great. Corn is a filler that can trigger skin problems. (allergies, skin problems, itching and excessive shedding) By products is anything from an animal not fit for human consumption, including cancerous tissue. Quality foods have meat as the first ingredient. California Natural, Solid Gold, Innova and Merrick are a few of the best brands available. LOL!!! Yes I know what you mean I have an outside cat and everytime he enters the house he stinks up the room!! You can buy gas pills from a grain store or even from the net!! Try those, I would also try changing his food maybe to one for senior cats he may not be old but the regular food might be upsetting his stomach!! Good Luck!! Tell the stinkpots I said HI!!

change their diet. could be the whiskas is too rich for them. Alot of the 'wet' foods will build up gas in a cats gut and the stuff literally runs out the other end no sooner they've eaten. Try the better quality dry food (e.g. iams, hills, etc)and just give the wet foods as a treat now and then.

When I brought my kitten home he was on Iams and was doing the same thing. The vet told me the food may be too rich for him and that is what is causing the problem.
I switched him to Purina Kitten and then when he turned a year old Purina Indoor Formula.
We haven't had a problem since!!

When cats have gas it is a sign of viral/bacterial infection in their stomach. Often this will also cause diaorhea. I recommend you take your cat to the vet, they probably will get better after a course of antibiotics. Taking a sample of their toilet can help the vet determine which bacteria is present and choose the appropriate treatment.

Cellotape a balloon to their brown eye so you can moniter how much they are guffing!
Seriously try changing their cat food brand, are they young kittens that you are feeding grown up cat food or something?
