Which one has better quailty, better customer service, better longevity?

If you're looking for a TV that will display the best image Sharp is the better of the two. You'll get much more accurate colors, smoother action images and the like. HP makes TVs that are great for home media, they even have a 37" model with wireless internet, however they do not display the most accurate image. Longevity is pretty similar for all LCDs...their light source is supposed to last around 60,000 hours. According to Consumer Reports Sharp has a great repair record.
