Go to the doctor. You probably have degenerative disc disease. The pain in your arm is coming from the disc problem in your neck. You probably have a pinched nerve. The doctor should get an MRI of your cervical spine.

Usually, physical therapy, pain killers and possibly steroid injections in your spine are used to treat the problem. If that doesn't work, you may need surgery.

Exhaust all other options before surgery is considered, unless of course you are advised that it is your only option. I've had 2 anterior cervical disctecomies. Not fun. Hope you feel better. Good luck.

I have had the same problem for over a year and I finally got told by a physician that it was a pulled muscle. You proably need to see your family doctor or a chiropractor to be on the safe side. Good Luck!

Could be a number of different things but try going to your local Fire Dept. and getting your Blood pressure checked for starters, its usually a free service and they don't mind at all. Better safe than sorry.
