Hi! First of all,you don`t strenghten the muscles of your veins, veins don`t have such things! What you can do is exercising regularly, walking for an hour a day and this will strenghten your leg muscles and will stimulate blood to circulate appropiately through your veins!veins unlike arteries don`t have a muscular layer, they have valves which in time may become incompetent and this is how you get that heavy sensation on your legs iand eventually you may develop varices. so exercise for your legs and the veins will work just fine!

Veins contain smooth muscle, which is involuntary muscle. There is nothing you can do directly to exercise smooth muscle, since you can't control it. However, any aerobic exercise, and particularly exercise involving the legs will cause a response in the veins and over time, improve the capability of the veins to "pump" the blood toward the heart. Activities that have low resistance and many repetitions are best, such as walking or non-competitive bike riding, and the exercise needs to last for at least 20 minutes. Weight lifting is not very effective since leg exercises usually doesn't have enough reps and the duration is too short.

well you cant strengthen the veins but you can build more of them. Theres two basic type of muscles, slow twitch and fast refelx. The fast reflex muscles are white because they dont need a lot of oxygen therefor not needing as much blood. The slow twitch are usually pink to red because of increased oxygen needs meaning more blood vessels. Work your legs to the max everytime. The increased need for oxygen in your leg muscles will cause your body to grow more blood vessels.

your veins don't have muscles, the best way to take care of the veins is to stay at a healthy weight, and if you have varicose veins compression socks work great. When you relax elevate your legs and that will help too.

Obviously you need to lift. Veins have smooth muscle tissue around them. All you need to do is Olympic lift and do a lot of squats... after all that deadlift. Your viens don't get bigger unless you work them.... or you are getting old and they get hard.
