Sounds like either acid reflux or it's possible you have a hernia (one where part of your stomach comes up toward your throat through a small opening).

Possibly a stomach knot preventing the food from fully making it down the pipe to your stomach. It's not a fun feeling and you'll probably end up with acid reflux if it continues. For now, try an antacid like Rolaids or something but if this is a recurring problem call your doctor and discuss "Bentyl" it relaxes your stomach and prevents knots. It's amazing how much I know about stress related disorders at 28 LOL. Anyway good luck to ya

You probably have the same thing I do. A ring of muscle or tissue in your esophagus that prevents food from going down smoothly. If you don't chew well, your food will get stuck. There is a procedure you can have done to widen your esophagus at that point.

you probably ate too fast, and your esophagus is having a hard time getting all that food down. go get a drink of water, and chew a little more in the future.
