The camera only takes 640x480 pixel images. So that is about 0.3 MP.

That's not much, and you could buy a better camera for the same money.

But the beauty of the FP camera is that you can throw it down the stairs and it will usually still work! This is good for 3 year olds.

Also, it has twin viewfinders, so the child can look thru both eyes. I just learned that most 3 year olds cannot yet squint one eye, so they cannot use single viewfinders.

It's a bit less than one third a megapixel. It states that in the description by 640 x 480 resolution. That is 307,200 pixels per picture. 307,200 / 1,000,000 = .3072

You could find one at Amazon.com.

If I am not mistaken and I seem to think I am not then it is 2.0 megapixels. You could look at FisherPrice.com or even ToysRUs.com to find out.

I would think it would be VGA.
