Maybe something with their initials ( K & E )...Or maybe something like a flower and the K and E intertwined/hidden in the vines...Or something that has stars or bubbles attached and have two stars meaning for my kids...

I am a tattoo flash designer, people can make suggestions to you, but it is obvious to me you have already have something in mind. Someone just needs to pick your image from your brain and draw it up. I'm having the image that you want something femine and complimentary to your body lines. Alot also depends on the location you want the tattoo to be displayed, and since its representing your children it needs to put in a respectful area and illustrated tastefully. Don't pick out a piece of flash from someone elses book or work, have someone draw it custom to represent your spirit and your children, this way its original like you and your kids! Good luck!

The first thing that comes to my mind is...are you going to have more children? If there's even the slightest possibility, I'd leave your options open a little on the design. Otherwise: roses on a vine, birds on a perch or in flight, butterflies in greenery, puzzle pieces.. these could all be in two or fours. If you're open to the idea, and if they're old enough, you could sit down together with a couple of nice reference books (botanical illustrations, birdwatching books, etc.) and have each of them select something within your theme. Some people say they look cheap and tacky, but its their opinion. If you really want one go for it, but you do have to consider the future. My mom always says " Just imagine it when you get older and its sagging and wrinkled. " I dont have a problem with tattoos, I'm considering getting one myself... its cool if you get one for your kids because then its like your kids are always with you. Have you seen Miami Ink or shows like that? I love watching that... you could watch an episode of that and see what ideas you can get off of there. Dont worry about having to go in there with your exact idea at mind, because they're artists... just give them ideas or drawings or picture and they'll work with you on something and they'll draw it up for you. In tattoo shops they also have portfolios, and stuff you can look through to get some idea.

A friend of mine with 3 children got a tattoo on her shoulder.. if you just looked at it it looked like a heart with squiggley borders. it was really pretty.. if you looked closer the outline was actually all her childrens names strung together written in a pretty font making the heart.. kind of hard to describe but it looked really pretty.. I've thought of something like that for when I have children.

How about a portrait of the two. If done right they look fantastic. I am going to have this done for my two boys. Currently I have their footprints off their birth certificates on my arm. I put a little devil tail & halo on each, cuz as we all know, sometomes they are angels & sometimes......well you know. I added their names in a celtic style underneath.... let me know what you decide.

I would say get a tattoo with both of your childrens zodiac signs intertwined and the oldest on top and youngest on the bottom with there birthdays

I thought if I ever had children I would get a tattoo of their feet stamps (like what they give you at the hospital when the child is first born).

Well I was imaging a male and female sign intertwined with the initials in each sign accordingly.
Or perhaps each of their star signs interacting with eachother - for instance a scorpion intertwined with a crab for cancer.

I personally think that you should forget the tatto b/c many things can go wrong..... you never know...they could get it infected or you may not like the design after a while...
