The only 'true' answer is that nobody knows. All of the statistic are skewed to support the political opinions of the people making the claim.

Another thing that distorts the statistics is that dead enemy are listed in the 'dead civilians' column. (Dead Iraqi army and police are also listed as 'civilians.')

As a result it is almost impossible to get an honest and accurate count.

You have to figure that the insurgents have killed many and blame it on the military.

99% of our people over there don't kill innocents. Those that do are prosecuted.

And you have to remember that some of the children are helping to kill our people - I'm not sure what column some of them are put in...

Innocent Civilians? I do believe there have been some unfortunately. I also believe what you consider to be innocent, are the same ones that are shooting RPG's at our servicemen. So yeah, those innocent ones deserve to be killed.

By other Iraqis? A lot more.
