It might be good for Macroeconomy, but in general, if "Bangaloring" jobs is the worst thing that can happen to an American worker, imagine what it means that your own government, the one you elected, does not protect you against "Bangalore" coming to your very hometown.
Immigrants, at least Mexicans, are not fleeing "abject poverty", no way, poor people in Mexico eat, and a lot. Food is abundant in Mexico (why, if not, are we second to US in obese people?)
But unprepared people (Mexican immigrants) will always head for "easy" money, even if that entails working their asses out.
And by doing so, Americans have access to one of the fruits of freedom: Cheap labor. How many fellow Americans do you know have illegal aliens working for them as gardeners, babysitters or housekeepers?
So, is it good or bad? It always depends on your vantage point.

Its good for the economy when people come here legally and contribute. Its bad when they come illegally and get everything for free.

I think it is bad, other countries are stricker about people moving to there county. I think some (not all) people come and ABUSE the system. And people who have lived here can't get the help they need.

It's good for the economy because these hard workers are doing jobs that most lazy people will not do. These people are not the criminals draining welfare, its lazy americans who don't want to get a job.
