You will need a new set of plugs, Wires, cap and rotor. If you do not have one pick up a spark plug gaper. (Not on of the round ones) you will also what a new air filter, Breather, PCV valve, and possibly vacuum hose for the vacuum advance. Pull the vacuum advance hose off and inspect it. If it has cracks or is damaged replace it you'll be glad you did. If you do not have timing light pick one up and verify your timing is correct. The gap on the plugs for the 300 is .40 if I remember correctly. Starts with pulling the old cap from the distributor (DO NOT DISSCONNECT ANY WIRES YET) replace the old rotor. Using the old cap as a guide locate the #1 wire. (Should have a 1 on the top or inside the cap. working in a clock wise director pull one wire off at a time and put it on the new cap. once all the wires have been moved from the old cap to the new place the new cap back on the distributor. Taking the new wires start with the #1 and remove it from the car. Remove the #1 plug and install the new plug in the #1. Install the new wire to the plug and then to the car. Repeat for each plug and wire only removing 1 wire and plug at a time (this saves you the time that you would have spent trying to figure out how the whole thing goes back together if you where to do everything at once) once you have completed the install of the plugs and wires, replace the vacuum hose for the vacuum advance. Install your new PCV valve, breather, and air filter. Start the truck up and verify timing. If correct you done. If not then you need to look at the sticker on the top of the radiator or inside the hood and find out what you Degree Advanced you need to be for the timing (Should be about 4 Degrees BTDC.) Hope this helps you out. If you have more questions please ask.

Points, condensor, rotor, distributor cap, plug wires, spark plugs.
Then, I'd pour a can of Sea-Foam fuel system cleaner in the gas tank - the stuff really works.
The 300 is a great motor - make sure you take care of it with the right oil, too - and change it regularly.
