No, don't try to untwist the logic of the entire story, it will unravel in your hands like a bad piece of knitting.

Just recognize that there can be much wisdom in symbols and legends, even when they are not literally true.

If I'm correct in my guessing here you are asking if the devil isn't good because he is taking bad people out of heaven. Were you aware that Lucifer or Satan was one of God's angels? Like all angels he does Gods bidding. I know I will get lots of flak for that statement. Yes he was cast out of heaven but in my opinion he still does God's bidding by gathering in the morally corrupt, the haters and the really bad folks. I wouldn't go so far as to say he is good though.

It's not a question of bad or good. Originally the devil was the highest angel, a creature of beauty. His ego caused him to sin against God so him and his followers were punished and cast into hell. Likewise humans who sin against God and do not ask for grace from their sins are sent to hell. He isn't doing God a favor by taking the bad to hell, those souls are just given the same punishment as Satan.

This reminds me of the Ravenloft campaign setting for Dungeons and Dragons.

But no, supposedly the devil isn't doing anything good that God wouldn't do anyway, he's just taking advantage of his limited resources.

hes only bad to the people that think god is good
if you worship the devil then your definition of devil would be jesus christ to them
its all realative to the person who is asking the question
the answer is
youll just have to die to find out
some people think we are in hell right now this second and when we die we go to heaven and if we are going to hell then we are just stayin gon "earth"
not a bad life if you ask me

Sorry man, I don't understand your question. He isn't taking the bad out of heaven. He is tempting people to sin so we go to hell with him.

While I am not certain I understand what you are asking I would think you are wrong. Charles Bukoski said that it is easier to bet against a loser than for a winner, because a loser is much easier to identify.

Satan (aka Lucifer) is actually a fallen angel. He was in heaven with the other angels, and decided that he was tired of listening to God and basically tried to overpower God. That's blasphemy, so Lucifer and his followers were kicked out of Heaven. It's not so much that he left and took the evil with him... he was banished...
