The reasoning for illegal immigrates qualifying for amnesty can be applied to any crime so why are the prisons crowded? Send the misunderstood and underprivileged home to their families and embrace the loving democratic philosophy. Everyone should forgive their behavior - they just want a better life.
Bad examples but the concept is real....... let's not discriminate- all criminals deserve the same treatment for illegal behavior.
Car thieves lack transportation, just want a ride or the money they receive for selling off the parts. They need understanding and more welfare not jailtime.
Drug dealers just want a high and can't control their behavior. Plus they need therapy more than jail just ask them. Life is hard on them and they are misunderstood. Who cares if they sell drugs to children - they can't afford to not sale to the market?
We as taxpayers will save BILLIONS if not trillions as there is no longer a need for police, prisons, parole boards etc..

The world perceives it as a social phenomenon??? Then why is it illegal to sneak into New Zealand? Australia? Mexico? Japan? Canada? Why do those countries jail you and throw you out for breaking their immigration laws?

You are right, I was wondering why the US somehow let illegals stay, too. The countries you mentioned don't. I could imagine that a possible explanation may be the fact that US businesses do profit from the low wages they can pay illegals. Hey, come on, getting a guy to mow the lawn for a fiver, try that with an American worker... same in the construction industry, etc. There's got to be some benefit to someone, otherwise, there would be sharper enforcement. If you like, let me know what it is if you find out. I'd like to know, too...

12 American's are killed every day by illegal Mexican's. That's a firm statistic.
If we had secure borders, that number would be smaller and allow us to spend more resources focusing on fighting the crime that American citizens commit on eachother. It's bad enough without illegals here killing us.
