I had a Civil Case and the Judge ruled in my favor, Can I garnish this persons tax refund, and if so, how do I go about it?

You can not personally do it, but you can go to the Judge and let him know that it has not been resolved and he can issue a garnishment for his taxes.

It is an order that must be signed by a judge. You can place a lien on their real estate with the help of your atty. This will insure you get your money if they sell or refinance in the next 10 years. After that you may have to just loose out.

nope I won a case 17years ago and tried to garnish wages and got not a penny from the case to this day!! The courts suck

the court or irs has to do it you cant do it and then you will need a court order to do it so seek legal assistance and the lawyer should be able to help you out
tax is income so i would say yes it can be garnished
