For the same reason that people assume Presley when someone asks a question about Elvis.
It's because they are members of a real or imagined fan club. As fans, they just naturally link Jesus with Chirst and Elvis with Presley.
So, where you goin dude? Hell, heaven, or a concert?

Because most people who are named "Jesus" are named after Jesus Christ, who also is more known than any guy named after him.
If you don't give the full name, of course it's assumed you mean the better-known man. Especially in a board called "religion and spirituality". Duh.
I mean really, the time you used for asking you could have used for thinking yourself.

Are you suggesting that Jesus Hernandez can change water into wine? Well, that certainly explains why he drags into the office an hour late Monday mornings.

If you have a question about Jesus Hernandez, ask it in the lawn maintenance section and not religion.
